Refund & Cancellation Policy

Ayyappar Solutions Private Limited operates the ASPL Pay platform as a technology intermediary to facilitate the collection of rent and associated fees. By using our platform to make or receive payments, you agree to the following Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Rent Payments (Tenant Policy)

1.1 Finality of Transactions: All rent, deposit, and utility payments made by a tenant to a property owner via ASPL Pay are considered final and non-refundable by ASPL Pay.

1.2 Disputes with Landlords: ASPL Pay acts strictly as a payment gateway facilitator. Any request for a refund regarding overpayment, early lease termination, property condition, or disputed rent amounts must be directed to and resolved directly with the Property Owner or PG Manager. ASPL Pay cannot reverse a successful settlement once funds have been routed to the owner's bank account.

2. Technical Failures & Double Deductions

We understand that technical glitches can occur during online transactions.

  • Failed Transactions: If a payment fails but the amount is debited from your bank account or credit card, the payment gateway (Razorpay) will automatically initiate a refund to the original payment method.
  • Double Deductions: In the rare event of a double deduction for a single invoice due to a network error, please contact our support team immediately. Upon verification, the duplicate transaction will be refunded.
  • Processing Time: Standard refunds for technical failures take 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your bank account, depending on your issuing bank.

3. Platform Fees (Owner Policy)

If you are a Property Owner paying a subscription fee to Ayyappar Solutions Private Limited for the use of the ASPL Pay software:

  • Cancellations: You may cancel your ASPL Pay subscription at any time via your Owner Dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Refunds for Subscriptions: Subscription fees paid to ASPL Pay are non-refundable for the active billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial-month usage.

4. Chargebacks and Fraud

In the event of a chargeback initiated by a tenant, the Property Owner will be held liable for the disputed amount and any associated chargeback fees levied by the bank or payment gateway. ASPL Pay reserves the right to suspend accounts suspected of fraudulent transactions or excessive chargebacks.
